Engineering a Paintbrush Made of Light: Day 2

Today, I got really familiar with connecting, troubleshooting, and using the wiimote as a “tablet”. The wiimote basically tracks wherever the IR light is and places the mouse at that position on the screen. This works through a 4-point calibration; these four points help determine how far away and how slanted the surface is. In addition to this, we started and finished our construction of our IR “pens”. For our “pen”, this involved replacing the standard LED with an IR LED. I also was able to get a little bit of P5 into my day, starting with simple commands like “line” and “rectangle”. I’m hoping I’ll be able to get in more P5 time tonight and tomorrow.
