Day 1: Fab Lab

Today we learned how to use Adobe Illustrator and we learned about Platonic solids.  We also made a Flat Pack Character and a Platonic Solid.  The Platonic Solid I made was a Dodecahedron.  It has 12 sides, 20 vertices, and 30 edges.  I have never used a Vector editing software so this was a neat experience for me.  To make a 3D shape we took a flat piece of paper with a template on it, then cut  it out, and folded on the correct lines.  After you just tape it and you have a 3D shape.  I have a good time at my first day at Fab Lab.
