1/0 Fabric Switch
On the 13th, I created a fabric switch based on a 1/0 switch. it was constructed of circular fabric, with a hole in the center of where the zero is. Three layers of fabric arranged in such a way separate two layers of foil, with two connectors. By pressing down on the foil over the holes, the foil connects, thus allowing it to serve as a digital (on or off) pressure switch. I put a layer of fabric over the foil to serve as a faceplate, and reinforced the foil by doubling up with another layer of foil. The switch can be integrated into a circuit by connecting it with alligator clips, as shown below.
The switch was tested, and worked, in a circuit with a 3-volt battery and led.
