Programming A Piezo

Yesterday, our class began preparing to program piezos, small, circular devices  capable of making different sound pitches. We started out by making simple fabric switches out of aluminum and stylized cuts from regular clothing. These would serve as the off/on switch for our piezos and formed a closed circuit only if pressed. Later that day, we recieved our piezos and made special pouches to amplify their sound and prevent scratching. Today, we wrote a program to direct the piezo using the computer language Arduino and devised a way to correctly connect the LilyPad Arduino, fabric switch, and piezo to the computer.
