Hacking a Printer

I brought in my old printer that wasn’t working. It was a multifunction  MP 500 with many features. It was difficult removing the casing, but when we had done that, we were able to see the hundreds of components that the printer consisted of. There was a large mother board and dozens of wires that allowed the printer to be “smart”. We didn’t finsh opening it up, but we saw several motors, gears and other useful things to make a robot with.
