In this program, you will learn how to use the industry standard software to create logos and graphics for screen, web and print. You will be in charge of designing and creating real flyers and marketing materials for print and web. If you have always wanted to let your creative work be seen, this is a great place to start building your portfolio.

You will work with a graphic designer to learn how to lay out and design high quality graphics that meet the requirements for use on the web or print media. If you enjoy creating images, making graphics for web or video games, coming up with taglines or branding ideas, getting the word out about things that interest you, or design, this is a great program for you.

Through this course, you will also earn pre-college credit through the UCSD College Exploration program. This will be a great tool when you apply to any college, and it gives you a boost upon application to a UC. This course is open to beginners as well as those with experience. Whether you are creative, techie or both there is a place for you within graphic design!
