Charlie’s Final Writing

The group that I was placed in focused on researching the main components of solar energy. We were assigned this task because of an invention that we are working on. Our idea is a solar station where you can charge your phone and be in the shade at the same time. We are trying to invent this because it can change the economy. Solar is a great invention but many people don’t know how it works. Let’s save that for later. The role I played in this project is vitally important. I was the main creator of the Google Presentation that we made. The presentation was on solar energy, inverters, deep cycle, batteries, and the science behind it.

I focused on researching and explaining how the components in the solar function play their their roles. I am glad I took the opportunity because I learned a lot about solar power and I think that it will help me later in life. If your wondering how I would use that information, I want to be an engineer when I get older. My favorite thing about this project was to research and discover the vast information of solar energy. We changed the idea of this project many times. In fact, it started as a micro umbrella that fits in your pocket!
