Dani’s Portfolio

Hi. My name is Dani. I’m in 5th grade. I’m working on a trophy in the apps adobe illustrator and tinker cad. So far i have done vinyl cutting. I started the vinyl on illustrator then downloaded it on a flash drive and then plugged it to computer that was connected to the vinyl machine. I’m also working on a laser cut. i’m designing it in illustrator.

   My Progression through Tinkercad All of these objects were made in tinkercad. Tinkercad is an online place where you can sign up for free and when signed up you can make all sorts of stuff. I made every object on this page with simple tools or I made the object in an different program called Ado- be Illustrator. All of these shapes were squares,cylinders,rounded roof,pyramid, and much more. My favorite one is the dream office. The boxes, I had to make them certain sizes, the swim cap I did for a different project, the trophy was for the 3D printer, the logo was for my company,the dream office was for my company, and the guitar was to see how i could try to copy a guitar with shapes. The big black looking box on the guitar are the six strings.

My Favorite Tinkercad Project My favorite Tinkercad project is this one, my dream office. This project was my favorite one because I used so many shapes that it doesn’t look like too much and the way I put them together I think looks amazing. To make this dream office I used squares,spheres,pentagons, cylinders,and many more shapes. The way to g- et the holes is when you click the shape in tinkercad you click the button that says hole press it then group the shapes by clicking over the shapes and pressing group then you will get a hole in the shape if the shapes are touching. When you do the holes I think it makes it much cooler sometimes. If you look at the first picture you will see a courtyard. That part is all outside with trees,flowers,grass and a sitting area in the sun and is the shade. The rest of the office is inside.This office is multiple floors.Some parts have six floors and other parts have 1 to 5. 
My Progression Through Adobe Illustrator

On this program I had lots of fun. The object on the top you can see the first shape I have ever made. The one next to it is my company’s van. It was already drawn out for me so I had to color it in and add letters. The next one,my favorite one is the one below the van. This one had outlines for me but I changed most of them. This project went through the lazer cut. It turned out to be very cool.The last ones are my business cards.  

My Favorite Illustrator Project

My favorite project is the lazer cut which is the one above this. This one came with outlines but I changed most of them like the rings,glasses,the swimmer was a circle at first, and i added the NCA with the butterfly. This one is my favorite because it went through the lazer cutter and turned out amazing.
