Please join us Thursday May 3, 2012 to beta test a new system for humanitarian assistance/disaster relief in Haiti.

This project is addressing a core need in the deployment of aid to countries post-disaster: how to connect supplies with the first responders on the ground that need them.  Operating similarly to a ‘Craigs List’ for medical professionals and aid workers, this system catalogues supplies and updates users when items they need become available.  The matching of available supplies with people who need them takes place through an anonymous system that allows the users to be recognized within the system, but have masked public identities until they decide to make the connection.

We need a group of users to test the system and help us find issues and strengths before we deploy this to users abroad.  Please come down and meet the amazing group of students that are behind this project, hang out, send a text, and help Haiti.  Thank you!
