Meet Belle and Project “Meet The Makers”

WHO: I’m Belle, and I have been interning with FabLab since the eighth of January, although I started using FabLab when I was ten or eleven at the old City Heights location. I started when my school told me to find an internship that would be fun, teach me a lot, and was close to what I wanted to do when I grew up- so of course I thought of FabLab.  I want to do something involving STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) outreach, especially for girls, when I grow up so working here and mentoring under Katie was perfect!

WHAT: For part of my graduation requirements at High Tech High Media Arts I get to do an internship project, and so for mine I decided to learn more about what makes FabLab so special- the makers.  I will be interviewing makers and posting their answers here, titled Project Meet the Makers.  MtM is all about shining the spotlight on the creators who work at FabLab and showcasing all their hard work.
