Since Monday, we have covered Adobe Illustrator, business card design, how to use the

different tools on Adobe Illustrator. It is very exciting to learn how to design and edit

images on Adobe Illustrator. We made logos for our companies on Tuesday and all of them

look great. We got our design ideas by looking at real companies logos. I used the pen tool

and letter tool to make my logos. I also used the pencil tool to draw the snake on my

second logo. On Wednesday we worked on making our logos able to be vinyl cut. We also

saw the MakerBot print 3D houses.

Today I made a 3D desk object. I made mine a pen/pencil holder that is triangular shaped.

I also made a 3D model of an item that an architect designed. I also had to make a

biography on a famous architect. At the end of class, we watched a TED talks on 3D

printing.

Today I put together a prototype of my 3D desk object. I decided to work on the design by

adding on an iPhone holder and making it less parts. I also made the object smaller and

edited the size of the holes on the design. It is much better now and should not fall apart.

Today we got an LED lighter and a lamp cap. It looks awesome because I chose the color

red and red lights up the best.

I also finished my desk object. It was laser cut with plastic and I hot glued the layers

together. It is a pencil holder and an iPhone holder. My prototype was originally just a

pencil holder but I redesigned it to hold an iPhone too.
