Superman project

On July 10 was Joe Shusters birthday, since he was the co-creator of superman we decided to remaster and upgrade the cover of his first superman comic. We changed it from raster to vector. In raster when you zoomed in you could see the many different pixels, but in vector no matter how much closer you went in it would look like one solid image. Vector images don’t display the pixels because vector images use mathematical formulas. Each of the people in the Product design class got a little strip of the cover and re-did it. Today we’re piecing together all the parts and seeing the end result. We used Adobe Illustrator to trace the image. We were restricted to only the pen tool to be like professionals since they only use tools like it.
