Vormator challenge

Yesterday we did the vormator challenge, in which we have eight various types of pieces that we could use and we had to create an image in Adobe Illustrator. We had infinite use of those pieces and could reflect, rotate, and flip the pieces. We opverlapped and used negative space to create images that we couldn’t create already. Today we’re printing them out using the vinyl plotter!

I created the Roman Coliseum using the pieces. I decided on this project because I find the Romans fairly interesting, especially their intricate architecture. Using negative space I was able to create the windows around the Coliseum, then I used a random assortmant of pieces for the edges. I morphed together other pices to create the edgings around the windows and copy and pasted to create the length of the colliseum.
